Looks like I will be headed back for longer than I had expected. My sister is going back in for more cancer surgery in July so I am going to remain the the States until she recovers from this second trip under the knife.

In the mean time, here are some more pretties for you all to feast upon. Not sure of the readership now, usta be about 5 or 6 but since the potty mout rant against myths and fairy tales, I guess that I am down to only a couple of you stoppin by..

Sunsets, Do We Have Sunsets!

Both of these were taken on the Taravana on the same evening. Richard Postma and his son Kahai came through as usual... Treated us to a sunset that surpasses most fireworks displays....

If you are ever visiting Bora Bora, be sure to stop at the Activities Desk at the Hotel Bora Bora and reserve anything that concerns the Taravana, no matter wether it's a picnic, fishing, or sunset cruise, you'll not be disappointed!

Another Sunset

This one is from my buddies lanai the other night. I took a bunch of sunsets from Bora, and as my friend has a piece of property in Anau on the back side of Bora, we spent the better part of 2 days there picking up old coconuts and burning them. I love the smell that coconut fires give off... There is just something about that smell that takes me back to Guam, the Philippines, Thailand and the tropics in general.

Back From A Week On Bora

Spent a glorious dry week on Bora without the cast and crutches, didn't get a chance to do any fishing, but from all the talk with those in the know, I didn't miss anything. Spent the week seeing old friends, and renewing old aquaintances. Spent time with my wife's cousins, aunts, uncles and a hell of a lot of friends that some of which I hadn't seen in about 10 years. Managed to smoke some dynamite stuffs, know also that it didn't make me any smarter or wiser, but it sure did make me a lot happier and more relaxed. Took a hell of a lot of photos, and am in the process of winnowing the wheat from the chaff.. I'll post em as I finish them. More laters....
